ABCs Economic Update: The Future of Energy in Nigeria and its Impact on the Economy.

The event will bring together executives to discuss the future of energy in Nigeria and its impact on the economy leveraging the signed PIA.

Traditional oil and gas companies are getting on board with the energy transition, with upstream players spreading into renewables and oilfield service companies seeking to serve a wider energy market than just oil and gas. Governments all over the globe are setting ambitious targets to minimize their CO2 emissions and speed up the shift towards green energy but hopefully would not mean that oil and gas production will cease or lose its significance in the energy industry.

It is critical to discuss and identify how the PIA plays in the energy transition and diversification, the investment opportunities, funding, impact to trade, and the implications to businesses.
