On January 29, 2025 the American Business Council Nigeria (ABC), alongside Eurocham Nigeria and other Chambers, participated in the Second Existing Foreign Direct Investment Roundtable hosted by the Office of the President and the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Secretariat, led by Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu.
The high-level meeting brought together key government officials, including CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Comptroller-General of Customs, and representatives from the Governors of Enugu, Benue, and Osun States.
The session focused on addressing operational, regulatory, and policy challenges faced by foreign investors, with insights drawn from a pre-event survey and private sector feedback. ABC Vice-President Nneka Enwereji and Committee leads, including Adebisi A., Nonye Ujam, and George Uduku, provided sector-specific perspectives.
