On April 4, 2025, Board Members and Committee Heads of the American Business Council Nigeria (ABC) engaged in a strategic dialogue with U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria Richard Mills in Lagos. The session was hosted by the Acting ConsulGeneral, Commercial Counsellor Julie Marie LeBlanc, along with Economic Counselor Christine H. Harbaugh, Economic and Political Chief Michael Ervin, Deputy Economic and Political Chief Kenise Hill, and their team.
The ABC delegation was led by Sops Felix Ideriah, President of the Council. The meeting provided a platform to share key updates from the U.S. private sector on the business climate in Nigeria and to discuss the evolving U.S.–Nigeria bilateral relationship. Discussions highlighted opportunities for continued collaboration and policy alignment to enhance trade, investment, and economic engagement between the two countries.
